Our summer reading adventure has been a ton of fun so far! We've already unearthed a few stories that are millions of years in the making.

Next week, we're going to unearth stories 250 years in the making as we celebrate America's 250th!

We'll make our own Underwater Fireworks, craft up some Watercolor Stars, try our hand at making Beeswax Candles (while supplies last) and test our knowledge of geography with What State Am I?

We kicked off our summer reading program with the Edelman Fossil Park and Museum today! They brought a lot of fantastic fossils, and a fun dinosaur construction activity.

This is our summer to Unearth a Story! All of the festivities start this week!

We'll get our fangs wet with the Mesozoic Matinee on Wednesday, June 17th, at 12:30. This is a movie screening event for patrons over 10 years old.

Then, we'll have our official Summer Reading Kickoff on Thursday, June 18th, at 3:00. The Edelman Fossil Park Museum will be at The Twentieth Century Club in Lansdowne to talk about fossils. There will be prizes, reading buddy giveaways, and plenty of soft pretzels. You'll also have a chance to learn about all of our exciting summer programs.

Also, we recently discovered these mysterious eggs in the library. We're going to bring them to The Twentieth Century Club in Lansdowne and see if anything happens!
