We hope everyone enjoyed the LTHS Marching Band/Color Guard/Jazz Band Banquet last night! We also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible group of volunteers who made this night possible.
A banquet for 170+ people doesn’t just magically come together. Countless hours went into organizing every detail behind the scenes — decorations, food, setup, logistics, serving, cleanup, and everything in between. Many of these volunteers arrived hours early, stepped in wherever needed throughout the night to keep things running smoothly, and stayed late cleaning up long after the celebration ended.
What makes it even more meaningful is that some volunteers gave up personal time to be there — including anniversaries and even their child’s birthday — simply because they care so much about supporting our band students and creating special memories for everyone. These exceptional volunteers spent most of the evening working to make sure everyone could enjoy this special event.
It truly takes a village to pull off an event like this, and we are beyond grateful for every person who showed up, pitched in, and gave their time and energy so selflessly. Your hard work absolutely did not go unnoticed. Special kudos to Quinn Bolanowski Brueckmann and Barbara Suppa for planning this entire event, coming hours early to set up, and working it as well. Thank you as well to Jaclyn Ann, Jack Conaty, Krystal Pacheco Conaty, Lindsey Sellmer, Laureen Coup, John Sotelo Jr. and Mariel Sotelo for all of your help before, during and after the event and Leigh Buenvenida for grabbing the coffee after a long day of taking care of the middle school students on a field trip.
This event would not have been possible without these amazing volunteers. Thank you for helping make the night so special for our students and families. 🦁 🎶
Local business shout out: Thank you to Pies on Nine South for making all of the delicious food last night and to Elle Hartigan Designs for making a beautiful custom banner for our event.
