Battalion 39
(2023 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV 4x4 Special Service Vehicle)
This vehicle serves primarily as a command staff response unit for the district. Battalion 39 is staffed 24/7 by our daytime Operations Captain for effective redundancy in command and response.
The unit is equipped with SCDPS (DHEC) rapid responder medical equipment, a fire extinguisher, an SCBA, forcible entry tools, command boards, and tactical worksheets. These resources allow the vehicle to support incident command functions while also providing additional manpower for operations when needed.
