NEW horses have arrived! They will be available at our adoption event, this Saturday, September 5th from 10am-2pm.

We have 6 mares, 2-4 years old. Then, all the yearlings are geldings.

I will also have the 14 horses that are currently posted on our website, windriverwildhorses.com, also available at the event.

Fun fact: horses drink 5 to 10 gallons of water and consume roughly 15 to 20 pounds of forage (grass/ hay) every single day!

They use their highly mobile and sensitive lips to feel around, sort through the pasture, and selectively pick out the tastiest blades of grass. Yum! 😋

Good morning!! Our new group of adoptable horses have arrived!! Keep an eye out between now and Thursday for me to get 20+ horses posted on our website and Facebook! They are all long yearlings and 2 year old geldings from NV. 😃🐎
