The Foundation Dinners

Dedicated to responding to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, caring for the downcast. We reach out to the homeless and people that are in need of our services.

Foundation Dinners serves impoverished people with two free meals a day every day of the year. We provide counseling, job search, resume' help, help in obtaining ID's to people searching for jobs. Spiritual help, direction in obtaining medical, dental and other needs that our clients may have. We began our mission in 1990 and have expanded our mission and goals as the years have went by. We have s

een many people helped through troublesome times. We have been so pleased to see people obtain jobs through our efforts to help them find jobs. Homelessness is a bigger problem than what many people living in Lancaster know. Serving at Foundation Dinners can be a real eye opener for many people. We work with a lot of volunteers and have openings for volunteers to come and serve at Foundation Dinners. It is a rewarding experience serving people in need. Many people are regulars in serving and find that helping people brings a joy to them.

It's that time of year! Whether you're celebrating a graduation, wedding, corporate meeting, retirement, or any other event, Foundation Dinners gladly accepts leftover food. Perishable and non-perishable items are accepted. Please drop off at 1000 W. 5th Ave. Pick up can be arranged if necessary. Contact Rick Chrysler with any questions - 740-974-4256.

Our new partnership with Lancaster Chick-Fil-A is a blessing to Foundation Dinners! Their weekly donations have quickly become a favorite among our guests. We are thankful for their support and willingness to serve our mission in this way.

We are so grateful for our long-standing partnership with our local Pizza Hut. Our guests are able to enjoy delicious pizzas every month thanks to the generous donations of leftover items.

You can’t miss us! Have you driven by our building lately? Our freshly painted outdoor signage is all thanks to the help of Charlie Williams, who stripped and repainted the letters. This was a simple, yet much needed update to our facility.

Operations at Foundation Dinners are running smoothly thanks to an updated storage renovation by Karen’s grandson, and three of our weekly volunteers. We’re so appreciative of their willingness to do this as random act of kindness, seeing how much we truly needed a functional space.

This has been a huge help to our employees, ensuring we stay organized and have proper storage for the resources and items we provide to our guests.

Enjoy a stress-free, delicious meal to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday! Featuring the famous Carfagna's spaghetti sauce, this family-style meal is ideal for up to six people or enjoy leftovers with any extras. Meal will be cooked and prepared for takeout between 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 10.

Pre-orders are being accepted now through Friday, May 8. Place your order by calling Rick at 740-974-4256. All proceeds will support our mission and operations at Foundation Dinners.

Payment is accepted via cash or check, delivered to Foundation Dinners at 1000 W. 5th Ave., or through PayPal and Venmo which are located on our website at https://www.hungryhomeless.org/.

At Foundation Dinners, there is a depth to our mission. Just as Jesus sat with His followers, we too honor the privilege to serve those not only through meals, but by feeding their souls with the Gospel and truth of God’s love.

Many people pass through but even more become familiar faces and friends among each other and our staff at Foundation Dinners. For those who don’t have anyone or anywhere to turn to, we become that safe haven and constant in their lives.

We are deeply saddened by the recent loss of some of our guests. We treasured our time with them and are grateful that God led them to us. Please pray for the safety and renewal of all those we serve. May God bless them all.
