Attention drivers! A quick heads-up about an upcoming traffic change downtown. 🚦

Beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Chestnut Street is shifting to one-way traffic only (heading west) between S. High Street and S. Columbus Street.

If you are driving on West Chestnut Street between S. Columbus Street and Memorial Drive, don't worry—that section is staying two-way.

Change takes a little getting used to, so please take it slow, watch for the new signs, and stay extra alert for pedestrians, parked vehicles, and other motorists. Thanks for helping keep our streets safe!

⚠️ Traffic Reminder: Chestnut Street One-Way Change

Starting Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Chestnut Street will become one-way heading west from S. High Street to S. Columbus Street. Please note that West Chestnut Street between S. Columbus Street and Memorial Drive will remain open to regular two-way traffic.

Please use extra caution, watch for new signs, and stay alert for other drivers, pedestrians, and parked cars as everyone adjusts to this new traffic pattern.

In observance of Memorial Day, all City offices will be closed on Monday, May 25.
Normal business hours for all city departments will resume on Tuesday, May 26.
