Tonight's board meeting was a showcase of amazing achievements in our district:
π°We recognized five seniors who have been selected as recipients of the Toyota Leadership Academy Scholarship which supports students who demonstrate leadership, financial need, and a commitment to higher education.
β¨ Lancaster Centennial Lions club awarded Jamaree Thomas $500 scholarship. His selection was based on him having more than 500 hours of community service and being an outstanding member of the LHS Culinary department.
π Lancaster High School earned the Dallas County Promise Economic Mobility Award which recognizes K-12 districts and high schools reaching high levels of achievement or growth in TSI assessment and college enrollment.
π We recognized the top 25 seniors of the class of 2026 for their accomplishments throughout their high school journey.

We also recognized Lancaster HS varsity athletic teams for completing their 2025-2026 seasons! Weβre of our student-athletes and their performance during the season!

π We also recognized 16 Lancaster ISD employees that earned a STEM certification from Howard University through Lancaster ISDβs partnership with 21stCenturyEd
πAlso, we recognized our District Staff and Department of the Year that have been selected for the 2026 paraprofessional, rookie teacher, teacher, employee, instructional employee, and department of the Year. Congratulations to this awesome group of educators!
βοΈ We also recognized 15 Lancaster ISD teachers who have been selected to receive Teacher Incentive Allotments. This designation reflects their dedication to excellence in instruction, student growth, and overall impact in the classroom. Congratulations to our wonderful educators!
πLancaster ISD Human Resources presented recent Lancaster High School graduates who will major in education in college with a letter of intent guaranteeing them a teaching position when they graduate with their degree. We're looking forward to welcoming these Tigers back to Lancaster ISD in a few years! π§‘
