LACH, Lancaster Area Coalition for the Homeless L.A.C.H.(Lancaster Area Coalition for the Homeless) was created to provide access to services that allow homeless persons to improve their quality of life.

At this current time (September 2014) there are NO services in Lancaster County that help with homelessness. In order for someone in Lancaster County to receive shelter they must leave the area. This isn't possible for many people because they have jobs or they have children that are enrolled in school. A group of passionate individuals are diligently working together to find a solution for shelter in Lancaster County. Our first step to finding this solution is forming this coalition.

There will be another training session for the Point-in-Time Count tonight from 6 to 7pm at United Way of Lancaster County, SC

Please keep in mind that we will also need the help of the entire community to identify locations to search for individuals who may be experiencing homelessness. Let's make everyone count!

LACH will be opening the 2019 Winter Warming Center this January but we need your help to gather the items on this list. We will also need volunteers to prepare and deliver cooked meals to guests staying at the warming center. Follow the link below to sign-up and see available dates.
