Today, we take a moment to pay tribute to the courageous men and women of our Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Their bravery, commitment, and selflessness have safeguarded the freedoms we cherish daily.

This Memorial Day, we invite you to join us in honoring the memory of those who did not return home and to hold their families and fellow service members in your thoughts.

May their sacrifice never be forgotten. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Today our crews had a great time participating in Safety Day at Pleasantville Elementary School! πŸš’πŸš‘

Events like this are such an important opportunity to help teach children about fire safety, emergency awareness, and how first responders work together to keep our communities safe.

Students had the chance to see our apparatus and equipment up close, ask questions, and learn valuable safety tips in a fun and interactive way.

We want to thank the school staff and organizers for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful day, and a big thank you to all the students for being so engaged, respectful, and excited to learn!

Building positive relationships with our community starts young, and we are always grateful for opportunities like this. Stay safe πŸ”₯

Day 2 of Career Day at the fairgrounds was another huge success! πŸš’πŸš‘

Over 700 students from 3 counties had the opportunity to explore more than 40 different career paths and speak directly with professionals from across the region. We were proud to be a part of such an incredible event and to represent the fire and EMS service.

From checking out the apparatus and equipment to asking thoughtful questions about emergency services, today’s students brought great energy and curiosity. Events like this are a great reminder of how important it is to invest in and encourage the next generation.

A big thank you to the organizers, schools, career representatives, and everyone who helped make these two days possible. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with our communities and hopefully inspire a few future firefighters, paramedics, nurses, dispatchers, and public servants along the way.

Thank you to all the students who stopped by to see us β€” stay curious, work hard, and dream big!

Today our crews had the opportunity to take part in Career Day at the fairgrounds, and what an incredible experience it was! πŸš’

We always enjoy the chance to connect with students, answer questions, and give them a closer look at the fire service and EMS world. From the trucks and equipment to conversations about teamwork, training, and serving the community, we hope we helped inspire the next generation of firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and public servants.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and to all the students who stopped by our area with such great questions and enthusiasm. Community events like this are such an important reminder of the connections we build both on and off emergency scenes.

We were honored to represent our department and share what we do every day to serve our communities. πŸš‘πŸ”₯
