We're excited to join the Lancaster Farmers Market for their first Summer Kids' Day! Stop by the Farmers Market from 8:30 a.m. to noon and enjoy a variety of free activities designed just for kids. Be sure to visit our table, where your little ones can paint a rock, creating their very own piece of art to take home and receive information about our free, high quality, full day Head Start Preschool! See you Saturday!

Our first summer Kids' Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market is THIS Saturday, and there will be so much to do! Bring the whole family and get ready for a morning full of fun and great local food.

Kids Day at the Lancaster Farmers Market - June 13th

Special guests with free kids' activities will include:

• AHA! A Hands-On Adventure, A Children's Museum
• Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency's Early Childhood Education
• Squirrel Scout Outdoor School
• Lancaster Montessori School

And join us at:

• 9:30am for Farmers Market Storytime with the Fairfield County District Library
• 10:30am for Mini Yoga Adventures with Explore Me A Story - Mindful Nature Preschool (ages 5 and under)

At our Community Tent on Kids' Day, you can also visit with Rise Up Arts Alliance to learn about their upcoming productions and projects.

Find the Lancaster Farmers Market downtown on Chestnut Street between Broad & Chestnut (right around the corner from the Keller Market House). Market runs rain or shine from 8:30am to 12:00pm each Saturday morning. We'll see you there!

We will be hosting Free Summer meals starting NEXT Monday! Please stop by Tallmadge Elementary, Mt. Pleasant or Connexion West for a free meal for all kids and teens 18 and younger.

Come join us Tuesday, May 26th at Texas Roadhouse for LFCAA's Fundraising Night! We will also be collecting donations for our shelter and pantry. Donations can include hygiene products, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, diaper wipes and nonperishables such as soups, stews, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, canned fruit, cereals and oatmeal.
