Are you looking for a summer job that actually matters?
Lancaster Parks and Recreation is hiring lifeguards for the upcoming season, and we want YOU to join the crew! If you aren't certified yet—or if your current certification is about to expire—now is the time to sign up for training.
All classes listed below are conveniently held at the Groveport Recreation Center.

​Lancaster Parks and Recreation is officially hiring for the 2026 Summer Pool Season, and we want you on our team! Whether you're looking to save lives or be the friendly face at the front gate, we have a spot for you.

​Now Hiring: Lifeguards
​We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as American Red Cross certified lifeguards to help ensure the safety of our community while enjoying a rewarding summer by the pool.

​Earn While You Learn: We allow a reimbursement of up to $200 upon passing your certification and working for Lancaster Parks and Recreation at the pools through July 15th!
​Get Certified: Register now to make a splash with your new skills! Courses are held at the Robert K. Fox Family YMCA (465 W. Sixth Ave., Lancaster, OH; (740) 654-0616).
