ABOUT LANCASTER COUNTY:
Lancaster County is located in the north central area of South Carolina and is approximately 40 miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina and 60 miles north of Columbia, South Carolina. Today, opportunity in Lancaster County shines in many different ways. As South Carolina and the Charlotte Region’s fastest growing county, we provide all the advantages of the state’s pro-business climate with the excitement of the Charlotte metropolitan area. Our area’s superior connectivity by road, rail, air, and water transportation keeps companies connected to the Southeast, the nation, and the world. We’re well served by trucking companies and rail, and just a short trip from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and four ocean ports.
