Malone for Senate Members of the legislature should be loyal to constituents, not the other way around.

Senator James Andrew Malone is committed to continuing to deliver real, lasting change for Pennsylvania’s 36th State Senate District, and across the Commonwealth.

"Here's an example of what I mean when I say state funding should do something useful locally.

Mount Joy Township received a $1,043,000 grant for upgrades to its municipal complex. That includes safer access for police and public works employees, better security for police equipment, and improvements the township has been working toward.

I supported the township's application because local police and public works crews need facilities that let them do their jobs safely.

It's not a flashy issue. It's work that matters to a community.

Not every problem somebody brings to my office needs a new law.

Sometimes it's a state agency that hasn't called them back. Sometimes it's a form that has gone nowhere, or a question nobody seems able to answer.

That's part of the job too. You call your senator's office because you need somebody to help you get an answer, not another runaround.

I want the people I represent to know they can still reach us after the campaign signs come down.

Child care can decide whether taking a job is even worth it for a family.

You get offered a good position. Then you add up what it costs to have somebody watch your kids while you work, and suddenly the math looks very different.

I introduced Senate Bill 1310 to make it easier for employers to help cover that bill by increasing the state tax credit for their contributions.

It hasn’t become law. I’d like to see it move, because parents need options and businesses need people who can afford to come to work.

I spent years working in IT. I’m not against technology, and I know there can be benefits to new development.

But when a large data center is proposed near somebody’s home, the township needs time to ask the questions and set the rules. What does it mean for water, power, roads, and neighboring properties?

I stood with local leaders from West Hempfield, East Hempfield, Columbia, and Manheim Township to push for that breathing room.

Harrisburg shouldn’t rush a decision that a community will have to live with for decades.

Today is the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania for the Nov. 3 election.

If you moved, changed your name, or haven’t voted in a while, check your registration today. If something needs fixed, today is the day to do it.

I won this seat by 526 votes last year. I don’t need anyone to explain to me whether one vote matters.
Check your registration. Then send the link to one person who might need the reminder.

If you’re voting by mail this year, here’s my simple ask: don’t wait until the last minute.

Take a few minutes, fill out your ballot, and get it returned.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone across Lancaster County who has already voted, volunteered, knocked doors, made calls, or simply talked with a neighbor about what’s at stake in this election.

We’re in the final stretch now. Every vote matters, and I’d be honored to earn yours.

I’ve heard some version of this from older neighbors all over Lancaster County: “I did what I was supposed to do. I saved. I planned. The numbers still don’t work like they used to.”

Housing. Food. Prescriptions. Utilities. Transportation. None of that is optional.

That’s why I joined Senator Nick Miller for a Senate Policy Committee hearing in Elizabethtown and listened directly to seniors and the people who serve them.

I don’t need another chart to know costs are squeezing people. I want the policy to match the bills people are actually paying.

Proud to have the recommendation of the Pennsylvania Sheriffs’ Association Action PAC.

Supporting local law enforcement, first responders, and the communities they serve has always been part of how I approach public service.

I’m honored to have their support in this race.

Twenty-five days to go.

If you’ve been meaning to put a Malone sign in the yard, this is a good weekend to do it.

I know yard signs don’t vote. People do. But there’s something useful about letting the people on your block know where you stand. And in a race this close, every conversation helps.

If you want a sign, tell us. We’ll get you one.

Tomorrow’s debate may be off, but the conversation with voters isn’t.

My opponent, has decided not to participate in tomorrow’s debate. I was ready to be there and talk about the issues facing Lancaster County.

But a debate isn’t the only way to talk with voters.
So tomorrow, we’re knocking doors.

We’ll be out in Hempfield talking with neighbors, answering questions, listening to what’s on people’s minds, and making sure voters know what’s at stake on November 3.

That’s how I’ve always approached this job. Show up. Listen. Have the conversation. Do the work.

If you can give us a couple of hours tomorrow, I’d love to have you with us.
