Today we remember those who lost their lives and the heroes who gave everything to save others.

We pray for the families who still carry that loss, and we honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, or the lives they touched.

Engine Rescue 17, Tanker 17, Utility 17, and Air Trailer 17 were all dispatched this morning to Renovo Borough for a third alarm building fire. Tanker 17 has been shuttling water from the river to the fire scene. Utility and Air 17 filled SCBA cylinders. Engine Rescue 17’s crew assisted with fire suppression and is now currently standing by at Renovo Fire & EMS while units continue to overhaul the fire building to cover any other calls in the Renovo area

Engine Rescue 17 has transferred to Pleasant Gap Fire Company for the evening to cover any calls while their members attend the viewing of an Active Life Member who served their company for over 48 years including 20 years as Chief, Gary Royer.

We ask that you please keep the Royer Family and the Pleasant Gap Fire Company in your thoughts and prayers

We want to send a huge thanks to Walmart in Mill Hall for their donation of a pallet of bottled water! This will be helpful for keeping crews hydrated while on incidents.

A donation of this size, we feel its only right to distribute cases to our neighboring fire companies also!

Also thank you to Bobbi Brownson Moser for setting the whole thing up and to Snavely's Mill, Inc. for picking it up for us!

Engine 18-1 with a crew of 6 transferred to Clinton county station 17 while they operate with multiple companies on a 2 alarm structure fire
