Lakota Volunteer Fire Department responded to an exterior coal bin fire at the Neil Dardis Elementary School. The bin was emptied and inspected with no damage. Thank you to the school staff, city employees and the Lakota Ambulance for their assistance.

After tonight’s monthly regular meeting, volunteers participated in some pump, drafting and low level siphon training.

Join us down at Stump Lake Park and Stump Lake Village on Saturday July 4th for fireworks! Fireworks are funded by Nelson County and other donations received. We will begin lighting fuses at sundown to ensure it's a great show!
