Attendance Matters! LGS students got to soak Mrs. Bamberger on our Attendance Surprise Day in August!

Thank you Rachel Pospisil for visiting LGS on Friday and sharing your love for music. Rachel graduated from Carnegie Mellon University. She speaks multiple languages and plays the violin, piano, ukulele, and other instruments. She took all of our students PreK-5th on a tour around the world. They sang songs in 5 different languages and looked at the globe and the different cultures, connecting all of it to music!

Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Enriquez’s Kindergarten classes participated in their first Attendance Store of August! Students with perfect attendance had the exciting opportunity to shop at the store.
Remember, “Missing 10%, or about 2 days each month over the course of a school year, can make it harder to learn to read” (Attendance Works, 2026).
Let’s keep up the great attendance!! 💜
