- Full-Time Traditional Middle & High School for students and families across Colorado looking for a fully virtual/asynchronous learning experience.
- Middle & High School Part-Time options for Jeffco students to stay at their current school but need extra flexibility with JVA Classes.
- Targeted Actions to Graduation (TAG), our specialized program for
11th & 12th-grade students across Colorado to work at an accelerated rate to get back on track for graduation.
- Credit Advancement & Recovery Programs

☀️ Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Summer! ☀️

What an incredible year it has been! Thank you to all of our amazing families, students, and staff for making this school year so special. Your support, hard work, and community spirit made every day brighter.

As we wrap things up and look ahead to a relaxing break, here are a few important updates and summer dates to keep on your radar:

📅 End-of-Year Timeline & Summer School
Summer School: Kicks off on June 1st. If you have any questions about summer school, please call us at (303) 982-6770!

Availability: We will be available for questions and assistance until June 11th. Families are welcome to reach out to me anytime during the week until then.

Office Visits: Coming to the office after June 5th will be by appointment only. This helps us stay prepared to assist you efficiently and ensures everyone's safety!

🎒 Looking Ahead to Next Year
Return Date: We will be back in the building on July 7th to start prepping for the upcoming school year.

First Day of School: Students will officially return for the 2026-2027 school year on August 19th.

Are you ready to explore your artistic side? JVA art courses have something for every level of artist. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or building your portfolio for the future, JVA has the course for you! Act fast before classes fill up!

Courses for next year include Beginning and Intermediate Painting, Beginning and Intermediate 2D art, as well as a Photography class.

Courses explore a wide array of materials including paint, graphite, markers, colored pencils, collage, digital, and found material! You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with new techniques and develop your own, personal artistic style. There’s a ton of fun projects sprinkled throughout the classes such as making your own comic book, redesigning your favorite movie poster or album cover, and creating your own collage. These courses culminate in a final series showcasing your learning and growth at the end of the Intermediate sections.

☀️ Summer Credit Recovery 2026

When: June 1st – June 25th (4-week virtual session)

Who: Open to JVA full-time students (Grades 9-12).

Registration Deadline: Friday, May 29th.

Cost: $125 per course (Fees waived for FRL eligible students).

Round 2 of Choice Enrollment is officially OPEN! Whether you want to join us full-time or take a few part-time classes while staying at your neighborhood school, the time to apply is now.
