Don’t see this very often.

No, the water levels have not receded on American Lake.

The summer weather brings increased traffic at our boat launches. For some of us, it might have been a while since we got the boat out and for others we go so often that it’s second nature. Whatever the case may be, please ensure all safety lines are attached until you are in the water. Luckily nobody was hurt, but this expensive (and embarrassing) lesson could have been avoided.
