THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

In just a few hours this morning, volunteers bagged up turkeys, potatoes and other perishable food items, loaded up their cars and delivered food to 300 Lakewood families for the holidays, which included 100 senior households!

We are so thankful for everyone who spent their time with us over the past couple of days, dedicating their efforts toward other Lakewood families in need.

We look forward to seeing you in 2026!

With the help of our INCREDIBLE volunteers, LCAC has bagged all of the non-perishable food to go out to Lakewood families TOMORROW MORNING (Saturday, Dec. 20)!!

From 9 a.m. to noon, LCAC members and volunteers will bag perishable food at the Lakewood Masonic Temple, at 15300 Detroit Ave., and then hand deliver both non-perishable and perishable bags filled with dinner fixings to the community.

The event will be held regardless of the weather and is mostly outside, so dress accordingly to stay warm and dry!!

The LCAC annual Holiday Food Drive is finally here!

Starting TOMORROW(!!!!), LCAC will hold its Holiday Food Drive to serve Lakewood residents in need.

This neighborhood tradition is only possible with the support of the entire community.

The LCAC Holiday Food Drive will take place at the Lakewood Masonic Temple, at 15300 Detroit Ave., over two days.

TOMORROW (Dec. 19), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., non-perishable food donations will be sorted. Later that evening, LCAC members and volunteers will gather from 6-7:30 p.m. to bag non-perishable food.

On Saturday (Dec. 20) from 9 a.m. to noon, LCAC members and volunteers will bag perishable food and then hand deliver both non-perishable and perishable bags filled with dinner fixings to the community.

The event will be held regardless of the weather, so dress accordingly to stay warm and dry.

Volunteers are welcome to join as little or as much as they’d like… better yet, bring friends, family and neighbors!

LCAC’s food drives welcomes volunteers of all ages to come and participate, with tasks for everyone to participate in!

For our elementary and middle school-aged kids, they often are in charge of a specific station, handing out a particular item during both our Friday night bagging event and on Saturday morning with our perishable food items.
