Help Wanted


Town of Busti seeks candidates for temporary summer help.

Job Description – will work up to 40 hours per week and assist the Parks Department with maintaining the grounds at the Town Parks and other property owned by the Town of Busti. This will involve manual labor which will include the use of power equipment.

Candidates must possess a valid New York State Motor Vehicle Class D driver’s license; and must be 18 years of age or older.

Salary: starting at New York State minimum wage of $17.00 per hour

The Town of Busti Town Clerk, Assessor, Code Enforcement, and Court offices will be closed tomorrow, January 26, due to inclement weather conditions. We will reopen Tuesday, January 27.

⚠️ Winter Storm Warning – Chautauqua County

The National Weather Service in Buffalo maintains a Winter Storm Warning through 7 PM Monday, with 12–18 inches of snow expected across Chautauqua County.

Travel may be difficult, especially during Monday morning and evening commutes. Residents are urged to avoid unnecessary travel, drive with extreme caution if you must go out, and give snow plows plenty of space.

Please check on elderly or vulnerable neighbors, bring pets indoors, and prepare for possible power outages.
