Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) based on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (1974) by John le Carré
Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Main Library Auditorium

John le Carré’s celebrated Cold War novel is brought to life in this tense, deliberately paced espionage thriller. Set within British intelligence, the story follows a quiet hunt for a Soviet mole hidden deep within the agency. The film rewards close attention, favoring mood, performance, and subtle clues over action—very much in the spirit of the novel it’s based on. Directed by Tomas Alfredson (127 minutes).
