Our little free library turned five years old recently and it shows! Heavy rains, failing caulk, and pealing paint required us to take it down temporarily for repairs. It’ll be back in action soon, just in time for hammock/beach/pool reading season. ❤️

The weather is grand - stop by for a good book! See that pink book right there? It’s PERFECT for the 9 or 10 year old (4th or 5th grade) girl in your life.

This is the age at which jealousy, possessiveness, and the desire to be liked and accepted start to upend friendships between young girls. The Double Digit Club by Marion Dane Bauer explores the topic wonderfully. It’s a really easy, lovely read and there’s a lot to talk about together afterwards.
