Due to an increase in residents contributing to the annual junk removal, Beichner expects to be finished picking up by Friday, June 19th.

Annual Junk Removal will be held on Monday, June 15th. All allowable items can be placed safely on your curb the evening before the pickup!
Please do not block sidewalks or place items into the road.

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – VILLAGE OF LAKEWOOD CLASSIC CAR SHOW 🚨

Attention Village residents and visitors:
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Village of Lakewood will be hosting its Hoods Up Classic Car Show from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

To prepare for participants and ensure a safe and successful event, the Village will implement temporary parking restrictions beginning at 8:00 AM on June 20, 2026.

We respectfully request that all vehicles be removed from the areas highlighted in red on the attached map. Parking restrictions will be in effect on:
• Chautauqua Avenue from the intersection of E. Terrace Avenue to E. Summit Avenue
• Chautauqua Avenue from E. Summit Avenue to 2nd Street

Please note that the intersection of Chautauqua Avenue and Summit Avenue will remain open for eastbound and westbound traffic and is highlighted in yellow on the attached map.

The areas highlighted in red will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event hours.

The no-parking areas on East and West Terrace Avenue in front of the park will be reserved for food truck vendors participating in the event.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we host this community event. Please plan accordingly and use alternate parking and travel routes if necessary.

The annual 4th of July Summerfest celebration is right around the corner.
This event includes crafts, gifts, food, refreshments, entertainment and more!
Businesses along Chautauqua Avenue may also participate with sidewalk sales, displays, entertainment, and food specials.

The event this takes place Saturday, July 4th from noon until dusk.
Music will be provided by Ion Sky and the night will be concluded with Zambelli Fireworks at dusk.

Please consider this invitation to join the Lakewood community in celebrating our 4th of July Summerfest!

This warm weather has us thinking about Summer and a Village favorite, the Farmers' & Artisans Market!🍉🫛🫐

The Market will be held on Thursdays, but with a time change of 9:00am-2:00pm. Applications are being accepted at the Village Clerks office or can be emailed to [email protected].
