September is National Recovery Month! đź’ś
At RecoveryWorks, we see every day that recovery can take many forms. It can mean recovery from addiction, illness, homelessness, trauma or simply a time when life has come undone. Every person’s path is different, but the building blocks of stability are often remarkably similar: a safe place to sleep, access to health care, supportive relationships, meaningful work and community.
Throughout September, we’ll be celebrating recovery in all its forms and sharing stories and perspectives about what helps people move from surviving today toward what comes next.
One thing we know: Recovery starts with stability.
