The main function of the Lake Marion Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to support the staff, students and families of Lake Marion Elementary. We offer assistance by coordinating volunteers when needed and offering funds to the school for programs or items that are not included in the school’s annual budget. We obtain these funds through several fundraising opportunities throughout the year. In addition, we also offer social opportunities to enrich our community spirit.

Staff appreciation week is next week! We invite all LME students and families to come by anytime Friday evening to Sunday evening to decorate the LME sidewalks with messages and art for our staff. The PTO will leave buckets of chalk out, but please leave them when you are done so others can leave their art too! Please keep art appropriate and to the sidewalks along the pickup/drop off line (up to the front door) and the back bus lot.

We are searching for our next PTO VP, as well as chair leads for Walk-a-thon and staff appreciation! Without chair leads, we run the risk of these programs being canceled. It’s Culver’s day! Stop by before or after your conferences, and bring your student’s completed Culver’s coloring sheet to be entered to win a prize! Coloring sheets will be collected from 4:15pm-6:30pm and can be brought inside or to the drive thru. Don’t forget to mention you’re with LME!

Get your student's e-wallet set up for the book fair next week!

Click on "get started" and either sign in or create an account. From there add funds to an e-wallet from an e-giftcard (remaining funds from a previous fair) or another payment method! Make sure you are setting it up for a STUDENT.
