Summer reading begins today, Wednesday, June 17th!!! Can’t make it in today, don’t worry! Stop by anytime between today and Thursday, August 6th to register for summer reading.

Please note that the Lakeville Public Library is CLOSED on Saturday, June 20 to observe the Juneteenth Federal Holiday. We recognize that Juneteenth is Friday, June 19, but since the Library is not open on Fridays, our observance is pushed to the next day.

Please plan to pick up holds or museum passes for next weekend by 8pm on Thursday.

Storyhour beings tomorrow, Monday, June 15th! Ms. Teresa is very excited to welcome everyone back for dancing, singing, stories, crafts, and more dancing!

The Summer Storyhour schedule is:
3 Year Olds & Under—Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30
4 Year Olds & Over—Thursday at 1:00 (school age children welcome)

Summer reading begins next Wednesday, June 17th!!! We have a summer full of fun activities, a new tween & teen summer program, exciting special guest performers, bubbles, dancing, beads, bubbles, LEGOs, book discussions, sparkles, beads, Capoeira, stuffed animal shenanigans, and did we mention the beads and bubbles!!!

Can’t make it to the library on the 17th, don’t worry! Come when you can and we will get you registered and catch you up on everything happening this summer!

Just a reminder, today, Wednesday, June 10th the library will be closing at 4:00 for staff development.

The entire Library staff will be meeting to go over new information and to get ready for a summer filled with great events and activities.

The Library will reopen at 10am on Thursday, June 11.

The 2026 SAILS Library Road Trip is ready for you this summer! Stop by the Lakeville Public Library (or any participating library) and pick up a passport to bring to each of the listed libraries. Get a stamp from each library and see how many you can collect before August 31!

This is a great way to check out our neighboring libraries and towns. And, if you find a book or video at one library, remember you can still return it here in Lakeville, and we'll make sure it gets back to its home.
