Lakeville Day is this Sunday. We will have a table exhibiting the programs that we have in place. It is a great time to pick up a form for our 2025 Donation project. PLUS we will have a drawing for our "Everything Summer" basket. Please stop by and see what the Friends are all about.

The Friends of the Lakeville Council on Aging gathered at the Lakeville Senior Center on April 15, 2025, along with a total of 37 individuals representing 14 towns to discuss different ways to raise money for each of our Senior Centers . Those towns in attendance were – Lakeville, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Hanover, Mansfield, Marshfield, Middleborough, Plymouth, Rockland, Wareham, and West Bridgewater. The agenda was packed with opportunities for innovative ideas and plans to foster community engagement and support. The attendees, a spirited mix of seasoned professionals and enthusiastic newcomers, were eager to contribute their insights and collaborate on successes and challenges faced by each team. For our first attempt at this gathering, it was considered quite a success.

Our next collaborative is tentatively scheduled for November in Marshfield.

Please watch the upcoming newsletter for information on our ice cream sundae social to thank everyone for their generous support. The date is Friday, July 26 at 11:00. The flowers are in bloom - the courtyard is beautiful - mark your calendar for a fun time.
