Good morning Town of Lakeview!

The pool remains OPEN as long as the air quality index (AQI) stays below 150.

However, for the safety of our staff and guests, if the AQI reaches 150 or higher, we will be required to temporarily close the facility until conditions improve.

We’ll continue to monitor the air quality throughout the day and post updates here as needed. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe!

**Water Conservation Notice**

Effective June 19 through October 31, 2025, the Town of Lakeview is implementing *water usage guidelines* to help conserve our water resources. These measures are designed to ensure that we can continue to provide water to all residents while preserving our supply.

Due to the current status of our water system, the Town of Lakeview is operating with a limited number of active wells until new wells 10 and 11 are up and running. As a result, we kindly ask for your cooperation in following the guidelines outlined below.

Watering Restriction

Lawn watering is restricted between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

You are welcome to water your lawn in the early morning (before 10 a.m.) or in the evening (after 4 p.m.), when evaporation rates are lower, and water is more likely to be absorbed into the soil.

These guidelines are in place to help reduce water waste during the hottest parts of the day, when more water evaporates before it can benefit your lawn. By watering during the cooler times of day, we can all contribute to more efficient water use.

Watering Tips:

The best time to water your lawn is early in the morning, ideally before 10 a.m. This is when the temperature is cooler, and the wind and sun are less intense, helping the water to soak in properly.

If you need to water in the evening, aim to do so after 4 p.m., but avoid waiting too late, as watering too close to nightfall may encourage the growth of fungus or other lawn diseases.

Most lawns need about 1-2 inches of water each week, which can be achieved through one or two deep watering sessions. Overwatering can encourage shallow root growth and create conditions for pests and disease.

We truly appreciate your efforts in conserving water during this period. Your cooperation will make a significant difference as we work to manage our limited resources efficiently.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us:

Thank you for your understanding and support!
