Chandler Ludtke had on her 2007 LHS band pirate shirt on at work yesterday. Here is a video of that show. It is one of my favorite shows. We got a second division; however, the judges were laughing and having a good time through the show. I also remember how much the crowd got into it especially when they were singing along with the veggietales song. Even Linda Adamthwaite our announcer was getting into it. I think our color guard stole the show as Jill Dagley had them jumping over swords.

Ten years ago the HS band earned straight ones at district festival and went on to perform at State. The group later got a band director's worse nightmare for a rating at State. They worked hard and earned a first division in concert; however, they found the sight reading a bit challenging and receive a third giving them an overall second division at State. Please take a listen to this great sounding band. This recording brings back so many great memories of how well this group of students could play.
