Planning to burn yard debris? Do it the safe way. πŸ”₯ βœ…

Before you strike a match:
1⃣ Check if burning is allowed in your area β€” Not all areas allow landscape debris burning. Visit burnpermit.fire.ca.gov.
2⃣ Get a permit β€” It includes key safety rules you must follow.
3⃣ Prep your site β€” Clear 10 feet around your pile; keep it under 4x4 feet.
4⃣ Stay ready β€” Have water and a shovel handy; never leave it unattended.
5⃣ Fully out β€” Drown, stir, and feel for heat before you leave.

A few simple steps help prevent a small debris burn from becoming a wildfire.
