Recent FERC scoping developments represent a significant step in the Potter Valley Project review process. However, Lake County continues to encourage consideration of viable alternatives that would preserve the water storage, wildfire suppression, recreation, and economic benefits associated with Scott Dam and Lake Pillsbury, and encourage public participation during the FERC review process.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to submit comments to FERC by Friday, July 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time and include the docket number P-77-332.
