⚡ Inspiring the Next Generation of Skilled Trades Professionals! ⚡
Lakeland Electric was proud to participate in this Trades Summer Camp hosted by the Lakeland Police Athletic League in partnership with the Polk County School Board and the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
Our lineworkers, Andrew and Ethan, had the opportunity to meet with students, share their experiences in the electrical utility industry, and provide an inside look at the rewarding careers that help keep our community powered every day. From safety and teamwork to the specialized skills needed to become a lineworker, students gained valuable insight into this exciting career path.
Programs like this help connect young people with hands-on learning opportunities and introduce them to the many career options available in the skilled trades. Thank you to all the students who participated and showed such enthusiasm for learning! Lakeland PAL
