‼️Lakeland needs your help, we’re in the early stages of fighting the development of a Hyperscale Data Center!
Help us pack the meeting rooms and overflow the emails of our local officials with the concerns revolving this “Project Swan”.
Local Government is already making public notices trying to dissuade people from attending by saying the meeting agenda doesn’t include discussion on Project Swan, here is what you need to know:
• Public Comments are always taken at the end of these meetings after the agenda is covered- you can speak on anything that concerns you and wasn’t on the agenda for that meeting
• You don’t have to wait for your local officials to “ok” you talking about this issue, public comment is for ANY local concerns you want to bring to their attention
• If you can’t speak for any reason at all you can still attend, being a body to fill the room still helps and shows that you stand with your community
• Your local officials work for you! Remind them that the people will be heard; this is our city, our home, our community!
