Congratulations to NCHB-8!

We are proud to announce that Navy Cargo Handling Battilion Eight (NCHB -8) has been named a recipient of the Fiscal Year 2025 Silver Expeditionary Warfare (EXW) Excellence Pennant.

Attainment of the Expeditionary Warfare (EXW) qualification signifies that Sailors serving at an expeditionary warfare command have achieved a high level of excellence and proficiency across their respective expeditionary warfare mission areas. Commands are authorized to fly the Silver Expeditionary Warfare Excellence Pennant upon achieving a minimum 40 percent EXW qualification rate, based on the unit’s current onboard (COB) enlisted manning at the conclusion of the fiscal year.

This achievement reflects the professionalism, dedication, and warfighting excellence of the Sailors of NCHB-8.

NCHB-8 Annual Holiday Party 2025

Please join us for the NCHB-8 Annual Holiday Party on Saturday, 13DEC25 at 1900.

Families and friends are warmly welcomed as we come together to celebrate the holiday season. This year marks a decommissioning fiscal year for NCHB-8, which means this may be our final Holiday Party, so let’s make it a memorable one!

We will have door prizes, karaoke winners, and an ugly sweater contest as well.
