As we head into Memorial Day weekend, Key Peninsula Fire encourages everyone to take a moment to pause and reflect on the true meaning of this holiday. Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

As you gather with family and friends this weekend, please celebrate safely:
• Never drink and drive
• Slow down and stay alert on the roads
• Use caution with fire pits, grills, and outdoor burning
• Wear life jackets near the water
• Check on neighbors, family, and loved ones

We wish our community a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend as we remember those who gave everything for our freedom.

Stay Safe!

🚑💙 EMS Week 2026 💙🚑
Key Peninsula Fire is proud to recognize and celebrate EMS Week as we honor the dedicated EMS professionals who serve our community each and every day.
Today’s theme is:
Health, Wellness, and Resilience Day
This day highlights the importance of caring for the health and wellness of both EMS professionals and the patients we serve. EMS responders face physical and emotional challenges every day, and resilience, support, and self-care are essential to continuing this important work.
Today is an opportunity to pause, support one another, and recognize the importance of mental health, physical wellness, and strength within EMS. By taking care of ourselves and each other, we are better prepared to care for our community.
Thank you to all EMS providers for your compassion, dedication, and commitment to serving others. 💙
