Our partners at Southeast Emergency Communications (SEECOM) are now accepting new hire and lateral applications to immediately fill a vacancy for full-time Shift Supervisor.
SEECOM is a regional consolidated 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center (ECC) employing 25 full-time Public Safety Telecommunicators, 3 full-time Shift Supervisors, and 4 Administrative Staff, serving several agencies (Algonquin Police, Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire, Cary Police, Crystal Lake Fire Rescue, Crystal Lake Park District Police, Crystal Lake Police, Huntley Fire, Huntley Police, Lake in the Hills Police, Lakewood Police, McHenry County College Police, Oakwood Hills Police in addition to MABAS Division 5 and Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network), with a combined residential population of over 201,000.

🏫HHS Freshman Frenzy (formerly known as Summer Forum) is an annual 1 day program for incoming freshmen of Huntley High School. The program is sponsored by the Huntley Police Department along with Partnering for Prevention, Huntley High School, Lake in the Hills Police Department, and the Algonquin Police Department.

The goal of HHS Freshman Frenzy is to provide incoming freshmen with important information they will need before entering their high school years, all while incorporating fun games, activities, and team building exercises. Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to, bullying/cyberbullying, teen dating violence, current drug trends & alcohol, dangers of the internet & social media. The purpose of HHS Freshman Frenzy is to establish positive relationships involving law enforcement with the youth of the Huntley, Lake in the Hills, and Algonquin areas.

Freshmen that attend this program will be well-informed on important issues that teenagers face today. Teen culture is changing and peer pressure is more prevalent than ever. Our goal is to educate the youth and help them make healthy and positive choices during their high school experience.

He was one of several officers who carried the Flame of Hope, which is traveling to this weekend’s Summer Games in Bloomington-Normal where Special Olympics Illinois athletes will compete in seven sports. 🏃🏻‍♂️
