If you ever find yourself caught in a rip current don't panic or fight the current.

Swim parallel to the shore and out of the current and then swim to shore.

Yell and Wave should you require assistance!

This decision has been made due to poor weather conditions along with unsuitable beach conditions:
💨NOAA wind advisory for East winds sustained 25-35mph with gusts upwards of 45mph
🌊NOAA High surf Advisory 7-12 feet causing major coastal erosion
☔️NOAA Coastal Flood Statement
⛱Lack of beach space due to higher than usual tide line

🚩🚩Please also note that the beach is under 2 red flags and thus no one may enter the water.

🚫The pier also remains closed at this time.

Please join us for the next beach bonfire on Friday, January 5th.
