During the September 1st Commission Meeting, Mayor Betty Resch read a proclamation from the City declaring September 15 through October 15, 2026, as National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Mayor Betty Resch highlighted the importance of recognizing the history, culture and contributions of the Hispanic community and its significant role in shaping Lake Worth Beach. She emphasized how the Hispanic community has contributed to the growth and strength of the City in business, education, law, science, technology and numerous other fields.

Mayor Betty Resch encouraged Lake Worth Beach residents to celebrate and recognize the contributions of the Hispanic community during National Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond.
