Dear Phoenix Families,
Polk County Public Schools requires all students in grades 6-12 to wear visible identification badges. This week, all students are being reissued their IDs. Wearing student IDs will be required to access transportation and used for many school-related functions. Please help us enforce this safety protocol and expectation.

The flame of brilliance was visible at McLaughlin Academy of Excellence!
Students engaged in meaningful conversation concerning business plans and marketing strategies. Others took a moment from their studies to choose their favorite Phoenix mascot! Biology students explained chromosomes and learned they are key part of the cell division process. Productive struggle took place in Algebra and the football team met their new coach.
