Over in the Innovation Academy, students in the STEM Lab celebrated the culmination of a lot of hard work this week! Thanks to the incredible support of the Steaming Up Polk Grant through the Polk Education Foundation, each student was able to design and construct their own rocket. They studied about the history of the space race as well as electrical and design engineering before building. Today they took flight!

This event featured amazing pieces of art from the art classes, creations from the career academies and our orchestra students! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and share in the amazing work they have done this year!

This afternoon the Roosevelt Eagles Basketball Team took to the courts for a team scrimmage match! It was an afternoon of high energy on the court from both the team and the cheerleaders. Congratulations to our student athletes!
