We have had several questions regarding side by sides recently. The town cannot inspect and register them it must be done through the NCDMV.

*Welcome Our New Police Officer*

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Terry Wayne Whaley Jr. as our newest Police Officer. Terry is a Columbus County native, born and raised in Nakina, and currently serves as a full-time officer with the Whiteville Police Department.

Terry is no stranger to service in the Lake Waccamaw community. In addition to his law enforcement work, he is also a member of the Lake Waccamaw Fire Department and EMS. We are grateful to Whiteville Police Chief Paul Rockenbach for allowing Terry to share his experience and dedication with our department.

His training, knowledge of the area, and commitment to public service make him a valuable asset to the Police Department and the citizens of Lake Waccamaw.
