This is David Parker, one of our Varsity Boy's Basketball players. Last Friday night he and his teammates played Wheeler HS, getting a great team victory, 51 to 35 against the Bearcats. In this game, David received an Exemplary Behavior Report from one of the IHSAA game officials. In the officials's report to the IHSAA, he wrote: "I would like to recognize Lake Station's #15 David Parker for his sportsmanship throughout the game. He demonstrated respect for his teammates, his opponents, and the officiating crew. His composure and positive approach helped maintain a competitive and respectful atmosphere on the floor. Congratulations to David Parker for representing his program with class and for exemplifying the values of sportsmanship promoted by the IHSAA."
