🌲 A FREE STATE PARK PASS AT YOUR LIBRARY —
STARTING JUNE 1, 2026! 🌲

Adventure is calling, and your East Carroll Parish Library card is your ticket.

Beginning June 1st, cardholders can check out a Louisiana State Parks Pass and explore the state’s natural beauty and rich history for FREE. You can also borrow a “Geaux Explore” backpack filled with binoculars, compass, magnifying glass, wildlife guides, and more to enhance your outdoor adventure.

Your pass gives one-day access for one vehicle to any of Louisiana’s 21 state parks and 14 historic sites. Passes are first‑come, first‑served and may be checked out once every six months.

🌿 How it works:
• Choose your park or historic site
• Check out a pass (and backpack if available)
• Visit for free — the ranger will collect the pass at entry
• Enjoy nature responsibly and leave no trace
• Share your adventure using

The East Carroll Parish Library hosted a successful Paint & Sip yesterday at 11 AM. Participants enjoyed a relaxing morning of guided painting, refreshments, and community connection. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the event special.

The East Carroll Parish Library was full of excitement on Thursday, May 28 at 10 AM as we hosted our 3rd Youth Summer Reading Program event!

A big thank you to TOMMY TERRIFIC for an amazing, high-energy presentation that had our young readers laughing, learning, and fully engaged from start to finish!

We love seeing our community come together to celebrate reading and fun.
