Last week was challenging for the DA's office. We had several employees test positive for COVID-19. This week their symptoms are mild or gone but they are staying quarantined for the full 14 days.

As a reminder we are still in Phase 1 of Gov. Edwards reopening of Louisiana. Please stay safe.

We lost one of our friends and family here at the DA's Office, former investigator James Williams lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a good friend and a joy to work with. He always said that He's too Blessed to be Stressed. He will be dearly missed.

My office is open and ready to help in any way we can. Thanks and God Bless.
