The LOPD was made aware, through a “Secret Santa”, of a family that didn’t have any Christmas presents for their 3 & 7 year old girls. Not wanting any child to go without Santa coming on Christmas, the LOPD went shopping and hopefully the girls enjoy their Christmas. We have no idea who the family is but hope we have brightened a couple of little girls’ Christmas!

For the month of November, the Lake Ozark Police Department men are giving their razors a break. Each officer paid $25 to participate in their own No-Shave November. The men are raising funds for the Lake Ozark Police Benevolent Association to assist with their annual Kids Academy held each summer.....

Don't forget, tomorrow! Lake Ozark once again kicks off the Lake Shootout with the Meet & Greet on the Strip, Wednesday August 22. All the racing boats will be parked on the strip that afternoon/evening. Due to this event, the strip will be closed to vehicle traffic from Noon until 11PM. The valley road detour will be accessible for the event except during 2pm-5pm when the dam is also closed to allow the boats to park and get situated. If you live on HH/Horseshoe Bend, your best route will be Hwy 242.
