On March 14th Sergeant Miller was presented with the American Legion Officer of the Year Award. Sgt Miller was selected as the Officer of the Year by the American Legion for assisting with field training 3 new officers, becoming our investigator of Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), and leading an extensive ICAC investigation which resulted in several felony charges, all while being promoted to the Rank of Sergeant and learning this new role. Lake Mills PD and the City of Lake Mills benefit greatly from the work of Sergeant Miller.

Vial For Life - A program to share information with first responders in the event you can’t. The concept is simple. You keep a small container in your freezer that has essential medical information in it and put the supplied sticker on the freezer door to let first responders know it is there. Things such as health conditions, medications, allergies and emergency contacts can be shared with first responders should they respond to your home and find you are unable to communicate due to a medical emergency.

You can get a vial for free at the Lake Mills Police Department. Contact us at 920-648-2354 with any questions.
