Check out our new little satellite shop in partnership with La Madeleine

We're excited to introduce a new Reading Corner at our Lake Jackson café in partnership with the Lake Jackson Library!

Guests are welcome to browse a book, enjoy a quiet moment with a coffee, or support the library with a simple $1 donation by scanning the QR code on the sign.

Every donation goes directly to the Lake Jackson Library and helps support programs, resources, and services for our community.

We're grateful for the opportunity to support an organization that does so much for Lake Jackson. 📚❤️

Hello all! Just a reminder that our annual meeting is coming up on Feb 2nd, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Lake Jackson Library. Our very special guest speaker will be local playwright and actor Davis Gordon Gilbert! All are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be served.

Hey all! It's time for the annual Friends of the Lake Jackson Library meeting. Please join us to learn about all the fabulous efforts we've made over the past year to ensure the Lake Jackson Library remains able to provide exciting, educational, and engaging programs for the whole community.

We're extremely delighted this year to have local actor and playwright Davis Gordon Gilbert as our featured speaker!

The meeting is on February 2, 2026 at 6:30pm CT at the Lake Jackson Library (250 Circle Way, Lake Jackson, TX) in the main meeting room. Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend.

We've got an awesome fundraising event coming up on Wednesday, Nov 5th! We're partnering with our friends at La Madeleine French Café to raise money. From 5pm-8pm CT, 20% of all sales will go to the Friends of the Lake Jackson Library if you mention us at the checkout! As well, each participant will get a ticket for a free book from our Friends book stock at the library. Please stop by La Madeleine, get some amazing food and drinks, and support our local library! 🥐🍰☕🫖
