We have been made aware that someone is calling residents and impersonating our deputies, claiming that you missed jury duty and must pay a fine over the phone to avoid arrest.

⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM.
Our deputies will never call you to collect money, request payment via phone, or threaten arrest over missed jury duty.

If you receive a call like this:
📞 Do NOT give out any personal or financial information.
🛑 Hang up immediately.
📲 Report the call to our office or your local law enforcement agency.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and talking to your family and friends—especially seniors who are often targeted.
