As I’ve said before, I love announcing sports at LHHS. Today was the home opener for the Lady Knights varsity softball team.
What a game to announce. After falling behind 6-2, the Lady Knights tied it up 7-7 in the bottom of the 7th.
The game then went into extra innings. In the bottom of the 8th, the first batter came up and produced an IN THE PARK walk off HR to win the game 8-7 over the San Luis Sand Vipers. Great win Lake Havasu Lady Knights!👍🇺🇸

We are excited to announce that the draft 2026 General Plan is available for the community to review and comment on through Saturday, April 18th. To kick off our public review period, we’ll be hosting an open house TONIGHT, February 25th from 5 – 7pm in the Mohave County Library Community Room. Light refreshments will be provided.

The open house is an opportunity for the community to learn more about the General Plan Update process, ask questions, and provide feedback.

If you are unable to attend the open house, you can review and comment on the draft virtually by visiting our General Plan website at: https://publicinput.com/lakehavasugeneralplan.

The 2026 General Plan is a long-term vision for the community's future, guiding decisions on growth, development, infrastructure, and quality of life. It will be on the ballot for voter approval in November 2026, so now is the time to participate and ensure your input will help shape Lake Havasu City’s future!
