Badger High School is proud to announce that Mrs. Jamie Lutz, Family & Consumer Sciences and ProStart Educator, has been named one of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association’s 2026 Top 20 Women in Hospitality to Watch.

Mrs. Lutz is helping shape the future of hospitality through the students she inspires every day. For nearly two decades, she has opened doors for young people and helped them discover the many opportunities within the hospitality industry. Her ability to connect with students as a teacher, coach, mentor, and counselor has led to three consecutive Wisconsin ProStart State Championships and a Top 10 national finish.

Today, students are transferring into the district specifically to join her program, while her contributions to the national ProStart textbook are helping influence hospitality education for more than 200,000 students nationwide.

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Lutz’s extraordinary leadership, dedication to her students, and lasting impact on Wisconsin’s hospitality industry.

Mrs. Lutz will be formally recognized at the Women in Hospitality Conference on September 28, 2026, at Monona Terrace in Madison.
